The Yell Blues became Company D, 5th Regiment, Arkansas State Troops. It disbanded after the Battle of Wilson’s Creek, and most of the men joined other units. According to the link below, Miss Huckabee made the presentation in Danville, Yell County. There were so many young ladies in Yell County with the surname Huckaby that it is impossible to isolate the presenter without more information (1860 census).
