Pardon the interruption folks. Every once in a while I "float" this question, hoping to get lucky. To whit: "Has any one out there transcribed the Joseph Farr letters which reside at the Butler Center?" My g-great grandfather also served in the 24th Ark. Inf. and I am very interested in accounts of this units service @Pine Bluff and St. Charles which are recounted in Lt. Farrs letters.
