Re: Johnson County Volunteer Companies

Here is what I have found by checking against Bryan Howertons list and the Grebes site:

"Independent Company Riflemen" Also Know As “Johnson Guards” became Company H, 3rd Regiment, Arkansas State Troops

"South Johnson Rifles" became COMPANY B, 16TH ARKANSAS INFANTRY REGIMENT

"Johnson Mounted Rifles" became Company C, 1st Arkansas Mounted Rifles,

But I still need help to identify the following Companies:

"Johnson County Lancers" of the 10th Militia Regiment commanded by Capt. Baston W. Cox Organized 1861 June 18Arkansas Military Department Records, List of Commissioned Officers of the Militia 1827–1862, Arkansas History Commission, Microfilm Roll 00000038-8, Page 149

"Volunteer Company Infantry" of the 10th Militia Regiment, commanded by Capt. J. W. Ring organized on 1861 Jun 12Arkansas Military Department Records, List of Commissioned Officers of the Militia 1827–1862, Arkansas History Commission, Microfilm Roll 00000038-8, Page 149

"Independent Company Cavalry" of the 10th Militia Regiment, commanded by Capt. Lynus Armstrong Organized on 1860 Dec 28
