Do you happen to have anything on a James P. George in Co E Newton's Cavalry? His wife applied for a pension from Saline Co and it was stated he served in Co E. Due to his birth info he is most likely the James K. George (probably James K. Polk George) age 13 in 1860 Saline Co. I have found on Footnote a George James in Co C Newton's that enlisted at Batesville in 1863 but not sure if it was a reversal of names or not. THere is also a George JAmes in Co G Crawford's Ark Cav which is a Saline Co unit but there is a GEorge James in the county. Just wondering if you could shed any light into J P George's service record.
