Malloy, 11th/17th Arkansas Infantry

Looking for information about my great great grandfather, Thomas F. Malloy. Here is what I know:

Born about 1832 in Cocke Co., TN

Died March 6, 1873 in Washington Co., AR

Ancestry.com says his wife, Lucretia Malloy Ritter, applied for a Confederate Widow’s Pension in 1928. The AR History Commission says he was in Co. K, Logan’s Regiment. (I haven't ordered his records from the History Commission yet.)

My buddy Alan Thompson at Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park suspects Thomas Malloy was in the 17th Arkansas and then the 11th/17th Arkansas. Alan suggested I post a query to this message board to see if anyone out there has information on Thomas Malloy.

Thanks,

Susan Young
