Anderson's 30 Day Volunteers

I continue to search for clues as to my GG Grandfather, William Davis, and his involvement (if any) in the Civil War. William moved from TN to Yell County, AR in the late 1850's with his wife and twin daughters. He purchased land in Yell County near the Walker family (these two families intermarried). There is some thought that he might have enlisted along with one of his friends/neighbors/future family members, Elijah Walker. In my search, and with the help of many on this board, my cousin and I have ruled out most of the William Davis' we've come across. However, I just found a muster card for William Davis in Co. H, Captain Anderson's 30 Day Volunteers. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out if this might, in fact, be my William Davis. I thought I found a record of Elijah Walker in this unit, but now can't seem to locate it. I did see a muster card for Elijah Walker in Co. I, 8 Arkansas Infantry and perhaps in searching information on that unit I found something that connected it to Captain Anderson's group.

William Davis was born about 1825 in TN and was married to Elizabeth (we think maybe maiden name of Bennett).

In any event, I would appreciate any help anyone might have on this. I saw that Bryan Howerton wrote a short history of Co. H. I wonder if anyone knows where those men might have ended up at the end of the 30 days?
