Had a drinking problem was some place in the back of my mind. After 32 years of Army just never considered drinking a problem. Correct as to location. His is the only unmarked site in the plot, as far as I know. Bridges was wounded on 4 Feb 1864 and died 9 days later. Specific date was not given. 13th is best guess. Like others, Bridges never reached his potential. All of his brothers were serving in some capacity. Throckmorton and Ross made BG and governor. Bridges seems to have been made of the same material.
