Alan, I'm no artillery expert, but I found on the Ed Gerdes website the following info: This battery was organized at Fayetteville, AR 1 April 1863. Stationed at Springfield, MO after 1 May 1863. Fully equipped 1 July 1863 with 6, three inch, rifled, wrought iron guns.
