I'm attempting to find which units comprised the 1st ARK Infantry Battalion at the Battle of Woodsonville, KY December 17th, 1861...can anyone assist? I'm aware that the battalion was redesignated the 3rd Confederate Infantry Regiment in January of 1862, but what were the units in the original 1st Battalion? Thanks for any info.
