I am searching for the Joseph R taylor who joined the Confederate war in Bentonville Ar in 1861. I need to find out if he was killed, or what happened to him . Can't find him in the 1870 census. He was married with 2 children in the 1860 Franklin Co Ar census. Wife Mary Ann.He was born 1836 in Ar. He was listed as a 1st sgt at enlistment July 8.. 1861.
He was in co C in the 15th Northwest Ar Infantry Regt. Wounded Oct 5...1862 at Corinth Miss. Sent to Alton Ill Prison.Exchanged April 1 1863. That's all I know. Thank you, Bonnie Nichols
