Looking for more information on the 40 series Infantry/Mounted Infantry/Cavalry Units. I know they were mainly raised in Northeast Arkansas and participated in Price's Raid. I know most were seldom referred to by their official designation and were ususally referred to by the commander's name. I am looking for the name of the commander of each regiment. The following unit appear either on the Gerbes site or on the NPS sight.
