The Little Rock-Searcy Road passed through Stoney Point in White County, like you stated about 5 miles northwest of Beebe. It left Austin and crossed the freeway at now what is Ward, then up to Stoney Point and on to near Antioch, coming into Searcy from the southwest. Many confederate troops passed through Stoney Point and a skirmish was fought there on May 20, 1864.
