The Butler Center for Arkansas Studies is pleased to announce the digitization of the Robert C. Gilliam Civil War Letters. Gilliam, a resident of Paraclifta in Sevier County, served in Pettus’ Battalion, Arkansas State Troops. He was killed in action at the Battle of Marks' Mill on April 25, 1864.
