Hello, Mr. Howerton, you have helped me in the past, and I am hoping you can again. There is a JH Moore listed in the 8th Infantry, Co. C. One Howell Moore enlisted the same day, and the info states that Howell was killed on July 4, 1863. I am thinking that he was killed at Helena. Then, there is a John H. Moore listed with Dobbins. This John H. Moore enlisted at Helena. Is there any way to tell if the JH Moore and John H. Moore are the same man? I didn't see info to tell where JH and Howell enlisted. All are Confederate. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated, Linda Wilson
