Hayes' Regiment, Arkansas

I'm looking for any information about Hayes' Regiment, Arkansas. It is listed @ https://www.familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Hayes27_Regiment,_Arkansas. According to the National Park Service's Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System, no history for this unit is contained in "Units of the Confederate States Army" by Joseph H. Crute, Jr.

According to my meager internet research, at websites such as Edward G Gerdes Civil War pages, Hayes' Regiment may have been involved in some sort of action on 28 Jan 1865, perhaps in Bradley Co., ARk and/or Saline Co., ARk.

Can anyone shed some light on this regiment or direct me to resources which might be helpful to my research? I'm interested in ALL info and would particularly like to know the unit's function (infantry?), whether or not it was ever assigned to an unit/ordinal number, when and where it was organized, any battle and/or encampment history, and Identification of Hayes. Thank You!
