Sterling Price son

In March of 1865 Gen. John Pope in St. Louis sent a message to Gen. Grant (O.R. Series 1, Vol 48, part 1, page 1181) that he had reliable information that Sterling Price was planning another raid into Missouri. As to his source, Pope said that a son of Sterling Price had told Gen. Dodge that he had correspondence with his fathers headquarters & believed a springtime raid to be imminent. According to Pope the younger Price had returned to Missouri about 18 months before & taken the oath of allegiance. He was warning Dodge because he didnt want to be suspect if his father raided Missouri again. My question is, who was this son of Sterling Price & had he served on his fathers' staff or have any other Confederate service? Thank you.
