According to my records, the following men were killed in that battle:

Pct. James T. McElrath, Co. E
John Campbell, Co. G
In addition, the following men were mortally wounded. I assume they died somewhere near Richmond, though I am not sure of that:
William R. Barnhill, Co. B
William J. Matthews, Co. C
John William Elright, Co. E
William H. Matthews, Co. E
I am wondering if the two William Matthews are related or if they are the same man and the records are confused.
We are planning a service of remembrance to honor all the men of both sides who were killed in the battle. This is be held during the 150th anniversary this coming August. Any information on any of these men or any of those who were wounded but survived will be appreciated and properly noted.
