I am personally touched by the heartfelt postings, reminiscences, family stories and patriotic messages that have been posted recently on this site. Unfortunately, I need to ask that we attempt to return to the primary purpose of this site, which is, to share historical and genealogical information pertaining to Arkansas and Arkansans in the American Civil War / War Between The States. Brief departures from the topic of this message board are certainly acceptable, but we need to limit these postings to maintain this site as a source of reliable historical and sourced information, exclusively related to Arkansas.
