Rushing's History of the 11th Arkansas.
In Response To: With the Light Guns in '61-'65 ()

1. Rushing, Anthony C., Ranks of Honor: A Regimental History of the Eleventh Arkansas lnfantry Regiment and Poe's Cavalry Battalion, C.S.A., 1861- 1865. (Little Rock, AR: Eagle Press, 1990). The orgional publisher is out of business and I believe Anthony owns the copyrights.

2. It might be interesting to take Fay Hempstead's work and republish just the the Civil War chapters, with his regimental histories.

3. Gammage, Washington L., The Camp, the Bivouac, and the Battlefield, Being a History of the Fourth Arkansas Regiment, from its First Organization Down to the Present Date.

4. Blessington, Joseph P. The Campaigns of Walker's Texas Division. (New York, NY: Lange, Little and Co., 1875).

5. Hallum, John. Reminiscences of the Civil War (Little Rock: Tunnard & Pittard, 1903).

6. Maddox, George T. Hard Trials and. Tribulations of an Old Confederate Soldier (Van Buren, Ar.: The Argus, 1897).
