My relative, Union soldier, FRANCIS D. WILBURN of Co. C Reg. Ark Cav., died in the hospital 29 Oct 1864 from wounds in battle at Fayetteville AR. His wife was given his belongings in Fort Smith, AR. I have not been able to find a burial site for him. If this was a field hospital would he have been buried in a mass grave? Is there a common gravesite in that area for soldiers who died there? Any wise counsel for my search would be appreciated. Yvonne
