In late 1864, Rogan was no longer with the 30th [aka 39th] Arkansas Infantry.
Rogan, Lyles and Anderson were listed as unattached Arkansas units during Price's Fall 1864 raid.

The 30th Arkansas in 1864 is shown in the Official Records including the following:

First. Tappan's brigade, Colonel Hardy, Nineteenth Regiment, commanding
- first, Colonel Hardy's regiment, Lieutenant-Colonel Wood commanding;
second, Colonel Thomson's regiment, Colonel Thomson commanding.

Second. Gause's brigade, Colonel Gause commanding-first, Colonel Gause's regiment;
second, Colonel Rogan's regiment (consolidated), Lieutenant-Colonel Hicks commanding;

LtCol Hicks was in the 32nd Ark which indicates a consolidation of the 30th and 32nd Ark
