on 17 June 1861, Thomas P. Dockery recieved a commission as Captain of a Volunteer Militia Company in the 68th Militia Regiment, Columbia County. The other officers were:

R. H. Howell 2LT
K??? N. Gladney 3LT

It appears that this company became Company B, 5th Regiment, Arkansas State Troops with Dismukes in command. The name of the company is very blurry It appears to be "Pr??????? Guards"
