FROM ARKANSAS.
Our information from Arkansas is rather meagre, yet cheering. The outrages of the Federals in their passage through the State have aroused the people almost to a man, and a numerous army is now prepared to dispute the further advance of the enemy. Reinforcements from other States have also arrived, and Gen. HOLMES has assumed command. The ordnance stores have been replenished to the necessary extent, and the commissary department is well supplied from the herds and granaries of the west. Our friends are now sanguine of their ability to check and finally drive CURTIS' force from the State.
