According to Wikipedia, Daniel R. McKissick was in command of Company F, 1st Cavalry Regiment, Arkansas State Troops that fought at Wilson Creek. This was called Carroll's Regiment. Later, 1st Lt. D.R. McKissick was acting Captain of Co. H, Watie's Regiment Cherokee Mounted Volunteers. Stan Watie's Regiment reportedly fought at Prairie Creek. Does anyone have rosters of these two companies?
