I have been working with four maps of Duvall's Bluff and the Duvall's Bluff area to locate the four federal forts there. With the scaling and overlaying of these maps and some ground work, I should soon have an exact GPS reading on these sites and others in DuVall's Bluff. After a trip to Duvall's Bluff yesterday, I can see I'm getting close. The GPS work is in need of a fine adjustment. The two GPS devices being used have a slight discrepancy. Fort A is the only one still visable with its size and shape known. My question is does anyone have a size for Fort B, Fort C and Fort D. I have a good idea of their shape and they are not all the same shape. Anyone have anything on the fort sizes.
