I'm NOT trying to sort out the regiments. I merely followed the regimental listings (which I KNOW are shaky) given in Crute.
I'm just trying to give the bios of the field officers of McRae's brigade for use for anyone who is writing on that brigade.

BTW Martin was Joseph Coffman Martin, born 4-8-1837 Randolph County, a farmer, son of planter/judge James Martin (1808-63) and brother of Major James Thomas Martin of the 7th AR. Joseph was a captain in the 7th 1861-62. He was mwia in the thigh at Helena, and died near there 7-8-63.

Robinson was born 8-8-1829 Madison County, TN. He was a merchant in Prairie County prewar.
