Hey Damon,
I don't know much about him but it's bound to be the same guy. He's buried here at Prairie Grove (or at the least there is a memorial marker) and his brother James later laid out the town of PG. In your post about the 32nd AR State Militia, you show him as captain of a company with A. Borden and W. Pittman as lieutenants. They were both from the PG area as well. In fact Borden's home was ground zero of the most intense fighting here, and Pittman's was about a half mile straight south.
