Re: 32nd Regiment of Arkansas State Militia

After William T. Neal left command of the the the 32nd Regiment of Arkansas State Militia, Washington County, in June 1862, to form a Volunteer Company which eventually jointed the 16th Arkansas Infantry, W.D. Anderson was elected Colonel of the militia regiment. In the next few month several new Volunteer Companies are listed as having been formed in the various townships of the county. I have not seen volunteer companies listed by townships in other Militia Regiments. It is normally the lettered companies (A-K) of the Regiment that were based on townships. I wonder if any of these names ring a bell

Captain Joseph R. Parks, Commissioned 22 August 1861, Illinois Township
Captain Thomas Gray, Commissioned 22 August 1861, Moutain Township
Captain William Hulee (sic) Commissioned 22 August 1861, Cove Creek Township
Captain P.L. Crawford, Commissioned 9 November 1861, Morris Hill Township
Captain A.G. (?) Lewis, Commissioned 9 November 1861, Morris Hill Township

I have the name of the other company officers if it helps id the units.
