I noticed along with others last Saturday, that there were a number trees down at Camp Nelson Cemetery. I took my chainsaw today and cleaned up the grounds and cleared the trees off of the fence. While I was working a number of people came inside the cemetery. Two ladies came over to me and ask if I knew anything about the Cemetery and Camp Nelson. I turned off my chainsaw and said How much time do you have. I gave them about a 30 minute talk on the history of Camp Nelson and a couple more visitors joined us. I told them they were suppose to be here last Saturday. They didn't understand. Well the final numbers are in for last Saturday. My count from noon to 1:00 PM and my wife's count from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM, the numbers through the turnstiles at Camp Nelson were 137 folks, 3 dogs, and one horse, whom didn't want to be there at first, but finally warmed up to the crowd.
