I Lieut Leonard is authorized to go to Lafayette County for the purpose of procuring volunteers for Capts brown's Artillery Company. II The resignation of Lieut J.B. Tacker, Co ""D"" [Allison] Nelson's Regiment, Texas Volunteers, is accepted to take effect from this date. III A military Commission to consist of Genl [Dandridge] McRae, Col Morgan, and Lt Col [Daniel W.] Ringo is appointed to meet at the Anthony Hotel in Little Rock, at 10 o'clock A.M. tomorrow for the trial of Phillips and Rhinehart, and such other deserters as may be brought before it.
