In Response To: Arkansans at Franklin ()

* The Camp, Bivouac, and Battlefield by W. L. Gammage a wartime published account by him, the brigade surgeon of Reynold's brigade.
* With HOnor Untarnished, History of the 1st Ark Inf which was in Govan's (formerly Cleburne's) Arkansas brigade by John C. Hammock.
* First In, Last Out, History of the 6th Ark Inf (also Govan's brigade) by Cal Collier
* Rebels Valiant, history of the 2nd Arkansas Mtd Rifles by W. T. Leeper (Reynolds' brigade)
Arkansas Confederates in the WEstern Theater by James Willis. Good source of primary sources on many battles throughout the AoT.

Anything written about Patrick CLeburne, but most importatntly the book by Howell and Elizabeth Purdue,"Past Cleburne"
Also Cleburne and his Command...written by Capt Irwin Buck who served on his staff I believe.

You will just have to check with libraries etc as some of these are out of print right now (noted with an *)
