Did Woodruff command a battery during the Brooks Baxter war?

I hadn't thought about the "Lady Baxter's" potential role at Fort Hindman, but now that you mention it, it's probably right... There a a number of contemporary drawings of the post-battle fortifications at Arkansas Post, it'll be interesting to go check and see if any of the weapons there remotely resemble the gun at the Old State House...

Plus, Woodruff had a heavy ox-drawn gun that he emplaced and used in the battle at Terry's Ferry during the Little Rock campaign. He withdrew with it to Little Rock after the Federals secured the river crossing, but split away from the crew once they got back to Little Rock... Woodruff stopped by his home and got a few items before heading out to Texas... and coincidentally comes up with a heavy gun several years later for the B-B War... this might have been another sighting of the Lady Baxter.
