The Arkansas in the Civil War Message Board

Albert Hicks, 7th Tenn Regt., Cav, Duckworth's, C

I am needing information on a man named Albert Hicks, who was a Canadian by birth.
He was with the 7th Tenn. Regt. Cav., Duckworth's Co. C.
I am of the opinion that he rode with Nathan Bedford Forrest and probably took part
in some serious interactions of the Civil War. I am asking for a lady who is doing research.
Hicks later lived in Arkansas.
Would he have been at the Battle of the Crossroads, I believe it was called. Where else?
I have tried finding the Tennessee branch of this Civil War website without any look.
Plus trying to do research turns up a lot of stuff, but not what I truly am supposed to find.
Thanks for any and all suggestions/input, etc.
