BG Roane was ordered to move his Briagde to Fulton and BG Hawthorne was ordered to move his brigade to Dooley's Bluff, in order to complete the works at those points. The orders indicate that the brigade will winter at these locations. Do we know when Hawthorne's brigade left this area and eventually joined the rest of Churhill's Division at Marshall. Did they first move to Shreaveport?
