Ok, thanks. I've read that too but I guess I've been confused as to when Hughey got the 3 inch guns. I had thought that he had two 12 pounder and two six pounder smoothbores at Poison Spring and then mistakenly I thought it to be Harris' Battery that had the 3 inch guns there. That explains the existence of the 3 inch shells found. Now, is there any existing report that states who had the little 2.25 inch guns at Prairie D' Anne and later at Guesses Creek where only Harris' Battery was engaged? I'm assuming Marmaduke sent at least one little Tredegar rifle with Harris in pursuit of Steele . But I only think this due to the recovery of a 2.25 inch Read shell found at Guesses. ANy info on this would be appreciated
