Frank Rector's service

Frank A. Rector submitted his resignation as Colonel of the 17th Arkansas Infantry on March 20, 1862 at Van Buren.

On August 18, 1862, he submitted his Bond as a Quartermaster.

A letter in his file dated April 1863 indicates that Frank A. Rector was appointed Quartermaster of the 1st Brigade, North West District by Colonel Charles A. Carroll, Commanding.

Other records in his file indicate that he was appointed Quartermaster on 12 August 1862.
