Correction regarding consolidation comments in the paragraph labeled The Port Hudson Units,

5/2/63 the consolidation has after all been broken up and each Regt retains its old organization [16th Ark]

5/3/63 moves our camp over to the Jackson road and the 16th is again camped by itself in all its glory. Our companies are quite small. I have only 12 men all told the strongest co number 40 and the whole Regt about 235 all our officers present except one [16th Ark]

5/16/63 S O #134-In accordance with Dept special order #112, par VIII of 4/22, the consolidated Regts & Bns will be separated & each will be organized under its own proper officers
