Uriah Davis, 1st Lieutenant, Company C, 17th Regiment Arkansas Infantry,* enlisted November 18, 1861 at Clarksville, Ark. for 12 months, relieved from duty and dropped from the rolls June 3, 1862 having not been re-elected, paid May 15, 1862, no further records

* This regiment was subsequently designated the 21st Regiment Arkansas Infantry about May 15,1862

Davis, Private, Company C, 17th Regiment Arkansas Infantry,* enlisted November 18, 1861 at Clarksville, Ark. for 12 months, discharged by the Board of Physicians from disability June 18, 1862, transportation furnished from Monroe, La to Camden, Ark., 15 year old Farmer on enlistment, 5’ high, fair complexion, black hair, dark eyes, unfit for duty for 50 days of last two months, disease Rheumatism and defective sight in consequence of Measles
