There were several Lyons in Lonoke County in recent years.
Nearly all of the older generation had been cotton tops with blue eyes. My best friend
in first grade had very white blonde hair and big blue eyes. Her older brother was
Sam, not sure if their dad was also Sam.
Some lived in the England, Ar. area.
One did particular well by working while the tale that traveled with that one
was he was a good worker and had always been, not like his dad who inherited
money and then threw it away.
That particular one was a friend of Earnest Best who died at like 104 and whose mind
was particularly keen. The initials may have been L.H. Lyons.
Plus that Mr. Lyons was also the ancestor of Oran Harper's grandsons, who live
somewhere between England and Altheirmer and are involved in farming.
