Doc married Martha Booth of a prominent family from West Point a few miles southeast of Searcy. In Searcy today Booth Drive is a major street passing through Searcy and the Booth Cemetery is about in the middle of Searcy. Some of the older Booth descendants carried the name Rayburn as a middle name in honor of Doc.
