I have seen there is a record of C. J. Grigsby as a Confederate prisoner on page 14272 in "Selected Records of the War Department Relating to Confederate Prisoners, 1861-1865." Does anyone have access to this? I'm wondering if he is the C. J. "Gregsby" that joined Dockery's 19th Infantry, Company E, on March 1, 1862. He is recorded as gone by Sep/Oct, "died time unknown."
