Re: Michigan troops in Little Rock

Thanks David, yes the 3rd Michigan Cavalry let their present be known to central Arkansas late war by dropping their J. A. Leggat 5, 10, and 25 cent sutler tokens all over the area. I'm working on a research project dealing with Michigan troops in the Little Rock area late war and double checking to see if any other Michigan units were in Little Rock at this time or left behind on provost duty in Little Rock. The 3rd Michigan Cavalry transferred to La in March 1865, could they have left some behind on duty in Arkansas. By the way does anyone know what units served as a Provost guard to the Military Prison in Little Rock 1864-1865.
