In a couple of weeks, I plan to spend a day visiting Poison Springs, Marks Mill, and Jenkins Ferry. I have been Goggling and have ordered "Harvest of Death" by Joe Walker which I am hoping arrives before leaving home on June 4th.

I am looking for input and inside tips from those with knowledge of this part of the Camden Campaign to make our visit as informative as possible. So far, I have not found detailed maps of these three actions.

My interest is based on my wife's ancestor, Pvt. Littleton Veazy of Co H, 18th Ark Infantry. His service records are non-existent after Port Hudson, but unit history states he may have been consolidated with Dockery's Brigade. Some of the good folks on this site furnished me with information and pictures a couple of years ago when Littleton was first documented as being my wife's great grandfather. Last year the folks at the Grant Co Museum furnished us with information which helped us locate Littleton's headstone in Sheridan where he lived after the war.

Any assistance in this quest would be greatly appreciated.
