The only thing close that I can see is a Gergus Hudson in Co B 1st BN, Trans Miss Confederate Cav aka 1st Bn Ark and La Cav. However there appears to be no unit history on it, nor can I find this person. The info comes from NPS soldier database and could be a transcription error for George as he is listed under G W Hudson.
