Re: "Name dropped from rolls to Mo rolls"?

The muster roll is of the 11th Kentucky Cavalry (Union) for William Pumphrey. Feb 1864

This fellow was 2nd Arkansas Infantry from 1861 till October 1863. His 2nd Arkansas company lists him missing believed captured, then note he is in military prison. I was trying to track him into military prison and think this was him taking a conscription enlistment (is that the right word?) in the 11th Kentucky Cavalry (Union) in October and November. Then the note in a February that "name dropped from rolls to Mo rolls".

I'm trying to understand what being dropped from rolls could mean, and what Mo rolls might be?

I appreciate the help.
