Thanks Bryan. Looks like he did not participate in Price's raid, but I guess it is possible some of his unit did join the 2nd Arkansas Consolidated Infantry Regimen and serve around Shreveport and Marshall, Texas but do not know of documentation he was there. Or he may have just returned home. He did practice as a physician in Prescott ARkansas until his death in 1875. My GF was born in 1868 - previous child was born in 1861. Likely I will never know if he served out the remainder of the war unless can find some documentation in Prescott or Nevada County as to when he returned home. Thanks again.
