H. M. Moore, 33, Capt. Moore’s Company, 3rd Regiment Infantry, 2nd Brigade Arkansas Volunteers,* joined for duty August 11, 1862 in King R. Township, Madison County, Ark., August 11, 1862 for the war, no other records

* This regiment was designed at various times as Peel’s Regiment Arkansas Infantry, Fitzwilliams’ Regiment Arkansas Infantry, as Adams’ Regiment Arkansas Infantry. At the same time it was also known ss 3rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Arkansas Infantry.
The Regiment was disbanded after the battle of Prairie Grove, Ark., the officers mustered out, and the men distributed among other organizations in General Cabell’s command
