Thank you Mr. Thompson,

Im sorry to hear of Mr. Howerton's passing, he was a wealth of knowlage that will be greatly missed by his peers and this community.

I'm most concerned with the men of Moore's Company (F) Adam's Regt. I have been trying to locate Ambrose Fair. His CSR is very limited. My guess at this point is the he rest in one of the many graves marked "Unknown" at Prairie Grove.

I have a transcript of the after action report by Col.Adams, which is quite lengthy compaired the the others for that day, and relate well the virosity of fire of the engagement.

I hope that you can complete your quest to identify and locate all the menber of that reg.

I'm am most certanly an amature at this but i do have a passion for this Regt. If ever I can be of service I will do my best to help.
