Nicholas Bartlett Pearce was a General in the Arkansas State Troops in the Civil War. He was born on 20 July 1828 in Caldwell County, Kentucky and died on 8 March 1894 in Dallas Texas.
His parents were Allen Pearce (1801 - 1848) and Polly Morse (1810 - 1859). After the war he taught at the U of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
