What if any military unit was M M Poindexter associated with while at Lorings Division Hospital, Macon, Miss. I'm looking to see if he was in a Unit that passed through Arkansas. Thanks George for your help. There was a Poindexter family that lived near Des Arc during the war. The head of household was a physician. No one seems to match in the family except a young girl, looks like her name is stamped on the back of the tag. Her name was Minnie H. Poindexter. But no M or M M Poindexter in the family. The tag was found about 30 miles west of Des Arc. Many troops departed from Des Arc on boats to east of the Mississippi River, but that would not explain why the tag was found west of Des Arc. Again many Thanks
